Un’atmosfera dark, quasi gotica.
Un sottofondo gloomy, vellutato blu notte, come di suoni e strumenti antichi riverberati nelle tenebre.
Un tappeto sonoro solenne, continuo e raffinato come un cesellato medievale o broccato rinascimentale. Al tempo stesso, con al centro un aereo cuore chillout dalle fluide suggestioni ozoniche, aeree.
L’elettronica di Telefon Tel Aviv è lirismo d’altri tempi potenziato dai mezzi rinnovati di un sublime tecnologico digitale. Una linea melodica continua, che partecipa della stessa vocazione narrativa degli aedi o bardi di secoli fa: non a caso, i titoli dell’ultimo album Dreams are not enough compongono, letti di seguito, una poesia.
Similmente, potenti ma lievi sono i castelli di Roberto Simoni. Un mastio di pietra, poderoso di storia e difesa, ma la cui solidità serve solo a ritagliare ed evidenziare ulteriormente una porzione di cielo. I sogni non sono abbastanza, ma ogni solida realtà è prima stata un orizzonte interiore respirato.
Gustateli insieme, per una immersione fotografica e artistica a cavallo di epoche e culture.

Telefon Tel Aviv electronic music is nowadays technological poetry, with the same narrative aoidos or bards narrative vocation: not by chance, the titles of the last Dreams are not enough album, read together, create a poem.
Similarly, Roberto Simoni castels are powerful yet light structures, whose stone solidity only enhances their heart of sky. For sure dreams are not enough, but every sturdy and grounded reality has always previously been an inner horizon to breathe.
