Interrompendo gli studi di architettura, nel 1978 si trasferisce a Firenze, dove inizia ad approfondire la fotografia ed i suoi processi come assistente di camera oscura del ritrattista Maurizio Ghiglia, figlio del più famoso pittore Oscar. In seguito, sempre a Firenze, inizia collaborazioni con varie testate cittadine, tra cui la Nazione, e la ARCI locale, per la quale documenta , fino al 1981, il circuito di concerti jazz che l’associazione organizzava.

Ritornato a Napoli, nel 1982, apre un suo studio ed inizia collaborazioni con le migliori agenzie di comunicazione pubblicitaria, con architetti ed il mondo del restauro d’arte.

Lavoro che continua a svolgere ancora oggi.

Biography

After unfinished studies of architecture, I decided to move to Florence, where I went deep inside the study of photography and its processes as assistant in the black room, of the portraitist Maurizio Ghiglia, better known as Oscar Ghiglia’s son, the famous painter. In the same glorious city I worked for several local journal news, as La Nazione and ARCI. For the ARCI I documented until 1981 all the jazz concerts by them organized. 

When back in Naples in the 1982, I initiated my own activity as private photographer, working for ones of the most glamour advertisingagencies, as well as collaboration with architectures and the world of art restoration.

To date, it is my job since then.
